They were a single  goal away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Skyline Falcons. Mead were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Skyline apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
Mead's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Skyline, their  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-8-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Mead will take on Longmont at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Longmont's last three  matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Skyline, they will square off against Silver Creek at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 17th.
