The Mountain Empire Redhawks will take on the Bonsall Legionnaires at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Empire will be strutting in after a victory while the Legionnaires will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Mountain Empire was able to grind out a solid win over the Eagles, taking the game 38-29.
Among those leading the charge was Carli McGhee, who scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Mountain Empire's points. Another player making a difference was Aisha Acevedo, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-17, which was the final score in Bonsall's tilt against the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
Mountain Empire's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Bonsall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
