Fannett Metal's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.4 points per game. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fannett Metal will take on Shalom Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
