In what's become a running theme this season, the Foresthill Wildfires gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by Futures at home to the tune of 57-24. Winning may never get old, but Foresthill sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for Addy Aldrich, who scored 21 points along with three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dailyn Francia, who scored ten points.
Despite the loss, Futures saw an underclassman step up: Analicia Garcia scored 16 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Garcia scored 15 or more points.
Foresthill is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Futures, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Foresthill will head out on the road to square off against Forest Lake Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Julia Nguyen and Aldrich. As for Futures, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sacramento Waldorf at 6:00 p.m.
