The Poly Parrots entered their tilt with the North Hollywood Huskies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Poly really took it to North Hollywood for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-27 win at home. With that victory, Poly brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Poly found their leader in underclassman Audrey Flores, who scored 33 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Flores has scored all season. Stephanie Claybon was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Poly is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for North Hollywood, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poly will challenge Monroe at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Monroe comes in still looking for their first win of the season. North Hollywood on the road again on Wednesday and play against Verdugo Hills at 4:30 p.m. on January 17th.
