The Enochs Eagles had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 32-26 W over Modesto on Saturday. For Enochs, this counts as revenge for the 40-37 loss Modesto walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Enochs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Destiny Ngo, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals. Ngo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gurleen Gill, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds.
Enochs' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Modesto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enochs will take on El Capitan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. El Capitan will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Modesto, they will be playing at home against Gustine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
