Josh Gershon of 247Sports reported Tuesday that Shaq's son has given a pledge to UCLA, becoming the sixth member of one of the nation's top recruiting classes.
The 6-foot-9 forward is regarded as the No. 33 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 by
247Sports.
O'Neal had been committed to Arizona since April but opted out over concerns about the program's status in the wake of a FBI probe.
The Bruins also have commitments from 7-footer
Moses Brown of
Archbishop Molloy (Queens, N.Y.) and 6-9 forward Kenneth Nwuba of
Huntington St. Joseph Prep (Huntington, W.Va.) as well as guards
Jules Bernard of
Windward (Los Angeles),
