In what's become a running theme this season, the Segerstrom Jaguars gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westminster 66-25 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-15.
Segerstrom was led to victory by Valeria Quero and Stephanie Valenciano. Quero scored 11 points along with six steals, while Valenciano scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals. Sasha Santos was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Segerstrom is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Westminster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Segerstrom will face off against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster, they will head out on the road to face off against the Seahawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
