The La Quinta Aztecs won the last time they faced the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. La Quinta walked away with  a   33-22  win over the Vaqueros.
 La Quinta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Natalie Tran, who  scored eight points along with ten  rebounds and two  steals.  Katelyn Vo was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with eight  rebounds and two  blocks.
 La Quinta's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Rancho Alamitos, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Quinta will take on the Matadors at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Bolsa Grande is no doubt hoping to put an end to  an 11-game streak of away losses. As for Rancho Alamitos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saxons at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Loara is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
