See more about the honorees on this year's team.Ranging in height from 5-foot-2 to 6-foot-6, the MaxPreps 2015 Preseason Volleyball All-American Team features two dozen seniors and six juniors.
St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.) teammates Audriana Fitzmorris and Jenna Gray represent the No. 1 team in the nation. Fitzmorris, a 6-5 front row standout, and Gray, a 6-foot setter, are three-time MaxPreps All-Americans and a key reason why St. James has two state titles and a silver trophy over the last three seasons.
Khalia Lanier of St. Xavier (Phoenix) is the daughter of NBA Hall-of-Famer Bob Lanier and has committed to USC. Kathryn Plummer, a 6-6 setter from Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) has committed to Stanford and is a member of the U.S. Junior National Team. She's also the tallest player on the list.
Melanie McHenry, who has committed to Louisville, averaged more than seven kills per set in 2014 and is also the placekicker on Speedway's football team.
Topping the list of juniors are Gabby Gray (Baylor of Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Mariah Whalen (Newman of Wausau, Wis.). Gray was the MaxPreps 2014 National Sophomore of the Year and Whalen was the MaxPreps 2013 National Freshman of the year.
Alexis Dirge of Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco) is the shortest player at 5-2.

MH - Audriana Fitzmorris, St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.), 6-5, SRSt. James Academy had its streak of state titles snapped at six in 2014, but Fitzmorris had a monster year with 667 kills (6.5 average), 111 blocks and 217 digs as the Thunder got the runner-up trophy and finished 40-7. Fitzmorris also played on the U.S. Junior National Team last summer and is a member of the Junior Women's Team this summer.
MB - Ronika Stone, Valley Christian (San Jose, Calif.), 6-3, SRStone put up big numbers against some of the west's top teams in leading VCHS to a 26-13 record a year ago. She posted 575 kills, served 94 percent (47 aces), blocked 68 shots, averaged 2.4 digs and returned 269 serves. Stone, who has committed to Oregon, is a member of the U.S. Girls National Youth Team.
MB - Sarah Langs, Lovejoy (Lucas, Texas), 6-3, SRThe TCU pledge led Lovejoy to the Class 5A state championship, the school's sixth in seven years. Langs led Lovejoy in kills with 477 and 130 blocks. She was an all-state pick and was named District 10-5A's Blocker of the Year.
MH - Mariah Whalen, Newman (Wausau, Wis.), 6-1, JRWhalen finished with 831 kills and more than 1,500 attacks for Newman last fall, helping the Cardinals repeat as D-4 state champions. Along the way she had 53 blocks, 102 aces, 280 digs and earned all-state tournament honors and first team all-state honors. Whalen also is Gannett Central Wisconsin Media's Volleyball POY.
MB - Lauren Cox, Flower Mound (Texas), 6-4, SRIn 2014, Cox had 79 solo blocks and 141 total blocks – an average of 1.7 blocks per set. Cox had 334 kills and a .362 hitting percentage, was an all-state selection and was named District 6-6A Blocker of the Year. She is also one of the most sought-after prep basketball players.
MH/OH - Orie Agbaji, Oak Park (Kansas City, Mo.), 6-4, JROne of only two high school players on the National Junior Women's Team, Agbaji had a near 50-percent kill percentage in leading Oak Park to 21 victories last season. She also serves at 96 percent and averages a block per set. She has committed to Texas.
OH - Abby Buckingham, Churchill (San Antonio), 6-2, SRBuckingham missed the 2014 season after earning MaxPreps honors as a sophomore. Considered one of the best hitters in high school volleyball, she led Churchill to a 47-3 season, ending with a state title loss to The Woodlands in 2013 when the future Texas Longhorn had 780 kills (5.4 average), 462 digs (3.2) and served 91 percent en route to All-American honors.
OH - Molly Haggerty, St. Francis (Wheaton, Ill.), 6-2, SR Haggerty led the Spartans to a 38-4 record and the Class 3A state title and slammed 381 kills with 152 digs, 53 blocks and 20 service aces while posting a .540 kill percentage. The 2014 News-Gazette All-State Volleyball Player of the Year was also the Gatorade Illinois State Player of the Year.
OH - Khalia Lanier, Xavier College Prep (Phoenix), 6-2, SRNamed Arizona's Large School Player of the Year as a sophomore, she led Xavier to a 37-4 season as a junior. She averaged five kills and four digs per set, and led the state semifinal team with 45 aces. She has committed to USC and is a member of the U.S. Girls Youth National Team.
OH - Gabby Gray, Baylor (Chattanooga, Tenn.), 6-0, JRNamed MaxPreps Sophomore of the Year and Tennessee's Gatorade State Player of the Year, Gray led the Red Raiders to a 43-9 record and the D2-AA state championship. Gray amassed 605 kills, 354 digs, 71 service aces and 31 blocks. A MaxPreps Freshman All-American in 2013, she is a two-time all-state honoree and was named MVP of the D2-AA state final.
OH - Gia Milana, Romeo (Mich.), 6-2, SRCommitted to Maryland, Milana totaled 503 kills (5.8 average with a 58.8 kill percentage), 246 digs (3.1), 70 aces, 42 blocks and only 18 serve reception errors as the Bulldogs went 46-8-1 and captured Michigan's large school state title.
OH - M.E. Dodge, East Troy (Wis.), 5-10, SRDodge had a terrific 2014 season with 673 kills (6.5), 52 aces, 55 blocks, 434 digs (4.2) and 769 serve receptions. A first team all-state pick for two years running, Dodge has committed to Wisconsin.
OH - Jac'cara Walker, P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, Fla.), 5-10, SRWalker guided the youthful PKY squad to the 4A state title and a 30-2 record in 2014. She totaled 364 kills (4.2 with a 52 percent kill ratio), served at 93 percent, had 272 digs (3.2) and 145 service points. She was named Florida's 4A Player of the Year. She has committed to Marshall University.
OH - Isabelle Taylor, Darien (Conn.), 6-0, SRThe 2014 Gatorade winner led the Blue Wave to a 25-2 record and the Class LL state championship when she slammed 304 kills (.508 kill percentage). Taylor amassed 179 digs, 169 service receptions, 37 blocks and 36 service aces.
OH - Melanie McHenry, Speedway (Ind.), 6-2, SROne of the most prolific hitters east of the Rockies, McHenry led Speedway to a 26-9 record when she killed 798 (7.1) of her 1,485 attempts. She also had 79 aces, 78 blocks, 415 digs (3.6) and only 13 errors in 496 serve receptions. McHenry, who kicks for her school's football team, has committed to Louisville.
OH - Sara Carr, Mountain Brook (Birmingham, Ala.), 5-11, SRAlabama's 2014 Gatorade State Player of the Year, Carr led the Spartans to a 49-10 record and the Class 7A state title. She finished with 648 kills while recording 513 digs, 81 service aces and 48 blocks. Carr was named the 7A State Tournament Most Valuable Player.
OH - Meredith Norris, Corunna (Mich.), 6-2, JRNorris posted 754 kills along with 571 digs, 77 blocks and 97 aces in leading the Cavaliers deep into the playoffs. She set a state record with 53 kills in one match and has more than 1,500 kills in just two seasons. Norris has committed to Michigan State.
OH - Lexi Sun, Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, Calif.), 6-2, JRThe Eagles may have won just 13 of 28 matches a year ago, but Sun had 340 kills, 235 digs, 36 total blocks and was the lone sophomore named to the All-San Diego Section Team. Sun, who has committed to Texas, is a member of the U.S. Girls Youth National Team.
OH - Nicole Peterson, Jesuit (Portland, Ore.), 6-1, SRPeterson was Oregon's 6A Player of the Year and led Jesuit to a state title and perfect season (37-0) in 2014. Considered an elite power hitter, she will play indoor and sand volleyball at San Francisco.
S - Jessie Prichard, Santiago (Corona, Calif.), 5-7, SRPrichard is a two-time CIF Southern Section first-team honoree and has led the Sharks to the D-IA championship match the last two seasons. Prichard finished her junior season with 1,195 assists, the second-highest total in area history.
S - Kristin Krause, Parkland (Allentown, Pa.), 5-9, SRKrause distributed 1,233 assists in 2014. The all-state choice totaled 105 aces and a 92 serve percentage. Krause was named an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and District 11 first-teamer.
S - Mariah Pardo, Clear Creek (League City, Texas), 5-9, SRPardo averaged 11.3 assists (1,498) to lead Clear Creek to a 42-5 season and a deep 2014 playoff run. She also totaled 96 kills, 23 aces, 43 blocks and 322 digs. She has committed to Dartmouth.
S - Caitlyn Floyd, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.), 5-7, SRFloyd dished out 1,151 assists (12 per set) as her team won 47 of 49 games and the New Jersey Tournament of Champions. She also served 78 aces en route to being named all-state.
S - Jenna Gray, St. James Academy (Lenexa, Kan.), 5-11, SRGray was all over the court as the Thunder went 40-7 and earned second place in the state. Her numbers: 769 assists (7.3), 274 digs (2.6), 361 kills (3.6), 37 aces, 51 blocks and only seven reception errors. She has committed to Stanford.
S - Norene Losia, Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.), 6-0, SRLosia had 1,092 assists, 103 aces, 95 blocks and 88 kills for state title-winning Redondo in 2014. She has committed to Hawaii.
S - Meghan Donovan, Villa Duchesne (St. Louis), 6-2, SRDonovan averaged 11.37 assists and 2.51 kills with a 48-percent kill rate as the Saints won 31 matches and finished second in Class 3A last year. Donovan, who was an all-Metro St. Louis first team pick last season, has committed to Georgia.
DS/L - Jamye Cox, St. Ursula Academy (Toledo, Ohio), 5-3, JRCox, who has committed to Michigan State, led the Arrows to a 28-1 season with 44 aces, 419 digs (4.7) and only 11 service errors on the season. She was also an all-state selection.
DS - Alexis Dirige, Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco), 5-2, SRDirige, who has committed to Washington State, plays much bigger than 5-foot-2 and recorded 612 digs (6.0), served 95.1 percent (33 aces) and returned 572 serves as Sacred Heart won the state D-III title and finished 37-3.
L - Savannah King, Bentonville (Ark.), 5-7, SRA year ago, King led the Tigers to a 32-4 season and large school state title with 798 digs (6.8), 98.7 serving percentage and 464 serve receptions.
L - Aliah Bowllan, Sutherland (Pittsford, N.Y.), 5-6, JRBowllan led Sutherland to a 44-2 record in 2014 when she averaged 5.8 digs per set, as well as returning 493 serves and recording 52 aces. She has committed to Syracuse.
All-Around - Leketor Member-Meneh, Lutheran South (St. Louis), 5-9, JRMember-Meneh averaged 6.95 kills per set and was a defensive standout (296 digs) in leading the Lancers to a 20-9-5 record in 2014.
A-A - Kathryn Plummer, Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, Calif.), 6-6, SRPlummer was a key reason the Wolverines won the CIF-SS D-IA title last fall. Plummer had 244 kills, 34 aces, 123 digs and 472 assists. She is a two-time member of the U.S. Girls Youth National Team and has committed to Stanford.
A-A - Morgan Hentz, Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, Ky.), 5-7, SRNamed as one of 12 players on the U.S. Girls Youth National Team to in U18 World Championships, Hentz is an all-around standout and has committed to Stanford.
