Neuqua Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 70-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lyons Lions. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Neuqua Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lyons, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neuqua Valley and St. Patrick will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Lyons, they will be home for the holidays to greet Juarez at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Juarez has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 225 points over their last three contests.
