Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Columbus). They were the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over the Hemingway Tigers on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Stallions who have now won three contests in a row.

Trinity Strickland was nothing short of spectacular: she went 9 for 14 on her way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karys Townsend, who posted nine points and six steals.

South Columbus is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Hemingway, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Columbus will welcome Pender at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hemingway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Sea Floyds at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
