Westover is 4-0 against Harnett Central since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Westover Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harnett Central Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Westover made easy work of Pine Forest and carried off a 51-25 win. The win was just what Westover needed coming off of a 61-34 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rmani Robinson , who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja?Naisha Carney, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals.
Meanwhile, Harnett Central was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Smithfield-Selma 47-6 at home.
Westover's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Harnett Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Westover strolled past Harnett Central in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 38-24. Does Westover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harnett Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
