The Welch Wildcats lost against the Wyandotte Bears back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Welch took a hard 53-34 fall against Wyandotte. Welch has not had much luck with Wyandotte recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Welch had strong showings from Joseph Clinton, who scored ten points along with five rebounds, and Colin Damann, who scored six points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Damann grabbed two or more steals.
Welch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Wyandotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
