Softball Recap: Erie Has No Trouble Against Fairview

Erie never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Fairview Knights. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Keyanna Reeves was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Braelen Heer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

Erie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairview only posted an OBP of .250.

Erie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Erie has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Cherokee Trail on the 21st. As for Fairview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-4 win against Thompson Valley on the 19th.
