 Xavier Prep got a good showing from  De La Torre Juan Pablo, who   tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned run off   two  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 At the plate,  Jordan Chancellor was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Oliver O'Bannon was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 Xavier Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Southwest EC, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
 Xavier Prep will head out on the road to  take on  Palm Desert at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Southwest EC, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brawley at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
