The Panorama Pythons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 14th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 82-45 loss at the hands of University. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Panorama struggled afterwards.
Panorama's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was YESSENIA QUEZADA, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. ELIZABETH JUAREZ was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds.
Panorama bumped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. As for University, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
Panorama and San Fernando will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for University, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Palisades at 4:30 p.m. Palisades presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than University in California (Palisades is ranked 158th, while University is ranked 729th).
