The Classical Academy extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 12-3. They blew past the Falcon Falcons 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Ada Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Taytum Kimbro was incredible, going 1-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Basil Murphy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
