Pacifica Christian won the last time they faced The Webb Schools and things went their way on Friday too. Pacifica Christian was the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over The Webb Schools. The result was nothing new for the Tritons, who have now won three matches by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Luke Miller was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, John Peterson was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Scout Escobedo also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Pacifica Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Webb Schools only posted an OBP of .400.

Pacifica Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 8.83 hits in those games compared to only 4.67 in the others. The Webb Schools' defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Pacifica Christian and The Webb Schools will both be playing Capistrano Valley Christian the next time they take the field. The Webb Schools will head out to face Capistrano Valley Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Pacifica Christian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
