The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars extended their postseason success on Friday against the Upsala/Swanville Patriots. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa blew past Upsala/Swanville 36-12. The win was just business as usual for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for Luke Dingmann, who threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 97 yards. Another player making a difference was Jack Lundberg, who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.
Although Upsala/Swanville took the loss, they still got scores from Jack Primus and Brody Kircher.
Even if they lost, Upsala/Swanville's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's QB was sacked three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Ethan Barthel and his two sacks.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Upsala/Swanville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will face off against Mayer Lutheran at TBD on Friday. Mayer Lutheran will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Upsala/Swanville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
