Windber is 8-0 against Rockwood since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Windber put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Glendale 57-26 at home. Winning may never get old, but Windber sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Windber relied on the efforts of Mariah Andrews, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, and Kaylie Gaye, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Gaye has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Angel James was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Even though Rockwood has not done well against Shade recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Rockwood breezed by Shade at home to the tune of 57-30. That looming 57-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rockwood yet this season.
Windber has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Rockwood, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
