The Burbank Titans will head out to face off against the West Campus Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burbank is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Burbank's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Valley as they made off with a 21-0 win. The Titans have beaten the Vikings the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.
Kevin Duplessis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Burbank's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 12-1 (and 3-9 when he doesn't).

Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Burbank has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .454. However, it's not like West Campus struggles in that department as they've averaged .472. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Burbank was able to grind out a solid victory over West Campus in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 8-3. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
