Softball Recap: Edgewood-Colesburg Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

While Edgewood-Colesburg put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Easton Valley. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Easton Valley. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Edgewood-Colesburg pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Easton Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood-Colesburg will square off against Springville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Orioles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Easton Valley, they will challenge Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
