Edward Chumley Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Anna was led to victory by Edward Chumley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Chumley rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.3). He has become a key player for Anna: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

On Friday, Emerson had to settle for second even though DJ Shelton put up the best numbers he has all season. Shelton threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards.
On the season, Shelton has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 169.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 16.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 35.5 rushing yards.

Walnut Grove Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Hayes Hackney
Hayes Hackney was instrumental in extending Walnut Grove's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Nobody could stop Hackney as he threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Hackney and Walnut Grove will take on Anna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Butler As Denison Won 48-0
Thanks in part to Jaylen Butler, Denison said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Butler did his part (and then some), rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for the 'W'.
Denison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Butler and Denison will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
