Meanwhile, everything went Capuchino's way against Evergreen Valley on Wednesday as Capuchino made off with a 16-1 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Capuchino got a massive performance out of Anakin Manuel, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Manuel has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cameron Chin, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.
Capuchino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evergreen Valley only posted an OBP of .250.
