Softball Recap: Chillicothe Wins Going Away Against Blair Oaks

Chillicothe barely beat Blair Oaks the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 11-1 win on Thursday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Chillicothe has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Blair Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Chillicothe will venture away from home to take on Trenton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Blair Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
