The Liberty Bison will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on November 28th.
Last Saturday, Liberty was the victim of a tough 43-23 loss at the hands of Montclair.
Alex Barajas put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 8 points. She scored a full 34.8% of Liberty's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Giana Crosby, who scored 5 points.
Meanwhile, Temecula Valley got the win against Tahquitz on Monday by a conclusive 61-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Temecula Valley.
Among those leading the charge was Karlee Wellonen, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Yvette Topete was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Temecula Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Liberty have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 17.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Temecula Valley struggles in that department as they've been even better at 26.8 per game.
