It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Grace Lancers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Knights onto the board and left with a 8-0 victory. Grace might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight matchups by six goals or more this season.
They hit Trinity Classical Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
 Priya Torres (5),
 Taylor Ikenouye (2), and
 Ashlyn Francis.
The win (which was Grace's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four matchups. As for Trinity Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
Grace didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat vs. Diamond Ranch on the 10th. Trinity Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
