The victory was some much needed relief for Port of Los Angeles as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.
Port of Los Angeles' victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Burton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Port of Los Angeles will challenge CALS Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Port of Los Angeles is coming into the contest with five straight wins on the road, meaning CALS Early College will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
