The Arroyo Dons lost against the Berkeley Yellowjackets back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Arroyo took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Berkeley. Arroyo has not had much luck with Berkeley recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Dons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordyn Walker, who scored no points along with ten rebounds and six steals. Walker has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Arroyo's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Berkeley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
Arroyo will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Eden is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Berkeley, they will head out on the road to take on St. Joseph Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph Notre Dame is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
