South extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 16-7 in the process. They blew past the North Stars 7-1. Considering the Spartans have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Tomas Encinas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk).
