Kaitlyn Mamay made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Beth Harris was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Kalmanowicz, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
