The McDonald's All-American Games released the rosters for the girls game today during a selection show on ESPNU.
The event will take place, along with the boys game, on March 29 at Chicago's United Center and features 24 of the top girls basketball players in the country.
The East team is led by UConn commits Megan Walker of Monacan (Richmond, Va.), who is regarded as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2017, and Mikayla Coombs of Wesleyan (Norcross, Ga.), along with Texas commits Rellah Boothe of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and Chasity Patterson of North Shore (Houston).
The West team includes the likes of Evina Wesbrook of South Salem (Ore.), Sidney Crooks of St. Joseph (Kenosha, Wis.), Chennedy Carter of Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, Texas), Kiana Williams of Wagner (San Antonio) and Michaela Onyenwere of Grandview (Aurora, Colo.).
This year's players were selected from more than 750 nominees by the McDonald's All-American Games selection committee.
Past participants in the McDonald's All-American Game include Candace Parker, Maya Moore, Elena Delle Donne and Breanna Stewart.
