Novato is 9-1 against Terra Linda since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will welcome the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Novato's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Terra Linda has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
On Saturday, Novato made easy work of Sonoma Valley and carried off a 7-1 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Gio Castaing made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Castaing was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other pitching news, Scott Rios looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Trevor Cleary was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Cash Campbell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Terra Linda came into Friday's contest having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past Branson 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since May 6, 2024.
Novato is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Terra Linda, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-13 and their overall record up to 4-17.
