Millennium extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping their season record down to 7-7 in the process. They lost 7-1 to the Venture Academy Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Wednesday.
Millennium saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Vatran, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
As for Venture Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Considering they have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
On Venture Academy's side, Isaac Stewart was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Omarion Walker, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
