After having lost a blowout in their matchup last week, Medford were happy to find some success on Friday. They were able to grind out a solid win over Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Friday, winning 35-26. The win was a breath of fresh air for Medford as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Medford take on United South Central at 7:00 PM. United South Central also lit up the scoreboard in their last contest, so this could be a high-scoring contest. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will be playing at home against Kenyon-Wanamingo at at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
