Sudduth threw for 216 yards and two TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, while Roberts rushed for 46 yards and a pair of scores. That's the most passing yards Sudduth has posted since back in August. A healthy portion of Sudduth's aerial production (89 yards to be exact) went to Jacob Boykins.
Summit Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. In that department, Keyan Phillips was the leader with two sacks.
The victory (which was Summit Academy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points on average over those games. As for Voyageur Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Coming up, Summit Academy will challenge Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Voyageur Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
