Garfield had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Bristol on Saturday. The G-Men blew past the Panthers 12-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the G-Men also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Garfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Bristol, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Looking ahead, Garfield will challenge Southeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the G-Men's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bristol, they will square off against Windham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
