Southwestern Academy was led to victory by Michelle Fakrogha and Marifer Durand. Fakrogha scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and four steals, while Durand almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. That's the first time this season that Fakrogha scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Valza Jusufi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Southwestern Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for New Harvest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Southwestern Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against International School of Los Angeles at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th.
