Virgin Valley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Boulder City Eagles. Virgin Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 18-25, 25-10, 25-16, 15-8.
Virgin Valley was led to victory by Ari Alejos and Hayden Owsley. Alejos had five aces and three digs, while Owsley had 17 digs, 11 kills, and two aces. Those 17 digs gave Owsley a new career-high.
