If Chaparral was feeling good fresh off their 62-30 takedown of Silverado on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pumas fell just short of the Chino Cowboys by a score of 62-59 on Wednesday. The Pumas' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Pumas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zetta Faasua, who shot 44% from the field en route to 23 points and six boards. That was a full 39% of Chaparral's points, marking the fourth time in a row Faasua has posted more than a third of the team's points. Maya Ford was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chino, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will square off against Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chino, they will look to defend their home court on December 5 against Chino Hills at 6:00 p.m.
