They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockford Christian Royal Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the  2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Rockford Christian, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 28-5 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will welcome Indian Creek  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Rockford Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against IC Catholic Prep  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
