Mt. Carmel was led to victory by Lacey Quintanilla and Grace Weede. Quintanilla dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds, while Weede scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Quintanilla has scored all season. Kiyanna Ellis was another key contributor, scoring two points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mt. Carmel and bumps their season record up to 4-12. As for San Pasqual, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
