Perhaps the best among them was Daylen Cummings, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 169 yards and a touchdown on only 14 passes. Cummings was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Maverick Harper and his 106 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Centennial's win.
Prior Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Centennial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Prior Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Centennial will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Rosemount. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (Rosemount is ranked 33rd, while Centennial is ranked 27th).
