Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Falls Despite Big Games from Liv Stevens and Kelly Neenan + How To Watch

Bishop Miege suffered their biggest defeat since September 26, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Olathe Northwest Ravens. The Stags were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ravens apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Bishop Miege was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Bishop Miege had strong showings from Kelly Neenan, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Liv Stevens, who had eight kills and five digs. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Miege and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Olathe Northwest, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Bishop Miege will challenge Lansing on Tuesday. As for Olathe Northwest, they will host Olathe South on Saturday.
