The Schurr Spartans were the 44-37 winner over the Bell Gardens Lancers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Schurr fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 31-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Schurr has suffered against the Lancers since May 13, 2021.
Bell Gardens got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Deanna Moore out in front who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Schurr's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Bell Gardens, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
Schurr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bell Gardens also has no future games currently scheduled.
