The South Allegheny Gladiators lost against the Seton LaSalle Rebels back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. South Allegheny had to suffer through a rough 62-26 loss at the hands of the Rebels. South Allegheny has not had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, South Allegheny saw an underclassman step up: Paige Dodds scored eight points.
South Allegheny has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Seton LaSalle, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will take on the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keystone Oaks presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Gladiators in Pennsylvania (the Golden Eagles are ranked 231st, while the Gladiators are ranked 531st). As for Seton LaSalle, they will be playing at home against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
