Paideia proved they can win big  last Monday (they won by ten) but  on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-3  victory over the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots. The  win was nothing new for Paideia as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Jayden Clay was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Paideia's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
 Paideia will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mount Pisgah Christian: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
