New Bloomfield is 8-1 against Russellville since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Indians at 5:00 p.m. New Bloomfield is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, New Bloomfield didn't have quite enough to beat Fatima and fell 2-1.

Taylor Allen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, New Bloomfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Talbot, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Russellville). They never let Cuba get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Karsyn Duncan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Duncan was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
Russellville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cuba only posted an OBP of .000.
Russellville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for New Bloomfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1.
New Bloomfield beat Russellville 13-8 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
