Despite the defeat, Odyssey Institute got a solid performance out of Shelby Hunt, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Hunt is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last six games she's played.
River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Odyssey Institute, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-14.
River Valley was dealt a bruising 38-5 defeat at the hands of the Minotaur in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hunt, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
